There's just something very hot and flattering about him having this effect on Terry of all people. On a man Daniel once desperately wanted to lust after him - and now that's exactly what's happening. Terry can't even be close to him for long while knowing that he can't touch him.
It awakens something in Daniel's ego that so often slumbers, curling the corners of his lips up without realising. ]
